SUBACO launches Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for bamboo pilot project in Coebiti

At SUBACO, we believe that sustainable development begins with careful preparation. That is why we have signed the letter of intent for the execution of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for our bamboo pilot project in Coebiti, Para district. The ESIA marks an important step in the further development of the project and will be carried out in accordance with applicable national regulations and international best practices. In addition, the process allows room for consultation with stakeholders and the surrounding communities. With this step, we reaffirm our commitment to a transparent process and the responsible development of the bamboo sector in Suriname.
